Raised in Georgetown, Dr. McCullum’s love of both science and the arts started early. As a musician, she developed the precision and attention to detail that now shape her approach to orthodontics. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Flute Performance from the University of Louisville—a background that continues to influence her thoughtful, artistic approach to smile design.

Dr. McCullum graduated as Valedictorian from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, earning her degree summa cum laude. She was inducted into the prestigious honor societies Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Phi Kappa Phi and the Delphi Society, and received numerous awards including the American Association of Orthodontists Award and the American College of Dentists Student Leadership and Professionalism Award. During her orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville, she served as class president and conducted research to improve patient safety by reducing radiation exposure during orthodontic treatment.
